The Coppersmith Creations Full Copper Finish Brass Legs Bathtub is hand-crafted from 16-gauge pure copper sheet, raised on brass legs that create genuine access for cleaning beneath the tub base. Left to its natural living finish, the copper surface deepens over time from a soft salmon pink through rich russet tones to a deep, lasting patina — a tub that grows more characterful with age rather than simply wearing down. Naturally corrosion-resistant and finished with a lacquered hand-waxed coating, it stays low-maintenance, needing only mild soap and a soft cloth to keep its finish intact. Complete with an included pop-up waste and generous 1651 x 787 x 787mm proportions, this copper tub brings genuine material craftsmanship and enduring character to any bathroom.

Taps: Not included. The bath is supplied with a pre-drilled hole for a standard bath waste, which can be easily purchased from any local plumbing supplier. Freestanding taps can then be selected separately to complement your bathroom design.

Coppersmith Creations products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Their handcrafted copper baths and sinks are made using traditional techniques and natural materials.

This warranty applies to manufacturing or material defects under normal domestic use. Copper is a living material and will naturally develop a patina over time, meaning colour variations and gradual darkening are normal characteristics and not considered defects. Minor variations in finish or surface texture may also occur due to the handcrafted nature of the product.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes such as patina development or surface marks, or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, commercial use, unauthorised modifications, or the use of harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Any costs relating to installation, removal, or consequential damage are not covered.

02. WHY DO CLIENTS CHOOSE COPPER?

Copper bathtubs carry an echo of history, treasured since ancient Egypt, Rome, and India for their beauty. Copper baths were later embraced by by English royalty, including Queen Victoria, who had copper and tin bathing suites in her private residences.

03. DO TAPS COME WITH THE BATHTUB?

No, you will need to purchase separate freestanding taps.

04. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Please expect your delivery to arrive within 3-5 working days. If you have ordered a custom colour (from the colour picker), please expect 3-4 weeks additional lead time. This is because it is a careful process, with each treatment professionally applied by hand.

05. HOW DO I CARE FOR THE BATHTUB?

After each use, rinse the bath with fresh water and a soft cloth to prevent limescale, particularly after using bath salts. Avoid acid or methanol-based cleaners. Don’t use abrasive cloths, especially on chrome parts. Copper is a soft metal and hence can pick up scratches and dents over time. Owing to self-healing nature of copper, these scratches will disappear themselves as the metal reacts with the air and gradually changes colour and appearance. This is called the patina. Instead of trying to repair scratches, love the inherent character as it forms over time creating a lived in luxury.
