ScandiFlames products are tested and certified to meet international safety standards for bioethanol fireplaces and are complete with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. They comply with EN 16647 (the European standard for decorative bioethanol appliances), which covers flame stability, fuel safety, emissions and spill protection. They also meet strict requirements for installation and use in residential interiors. Always use approved bioethanol fuel and follow the operating instructions provided. 

03. HOW DO I CARE FOR MY FIREPLACE?

Maintenance is minimal. Wipe surfaces with a soft cloth after use and keep the burner free from debris. Use only approved bioethanol fuel and store the fire in a dry, sheltered place when outdoors.

04. WHERE CAN I GET BIOETHANOL FUEL FROM?

You can buy bioethanol fuel easily online from sites like Amazon. Most customers choose bioethanol fuel that’s clearly labelled for indoor fireplaces and sold in 1–5 litre bottles or multipacks. Prices typically range from £3 to £5 per litre, depending on brand and quantity.

A bioethanol fire uses liquid bioethanol as fuel. It creates a real flame without gas, electricity, smoke or soot. This makes installation simple, with no need for a chimney or flue.
