Coppersmith Creations products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Their handcrafted copper baths and sinks are made using traditional techniques and natural materials.

This warranty applies to manufacturing or material defects under normal domestic use. Copper is a living material and will naturally develop a patina over time, meaning colour variations and gradual darkening are normal characteristics and not considered defects. Minor variations in finish or surface texture may also occur due to the handcrafted nature of the product.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes such as patina development or surface marks, or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, commercial use, unauthorised modifications, or the use of harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Any costs relating to installation, removal, or consequential damage are not covered.

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with details of the issue. We will assist with assessing the claim and arranging repair or replacement where applicable.

You then have a further 14 days to send the item back. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition. Please note rejected deliveries or failed delivery attempts are classed as change-of-mind. Return postage is at your own cost. Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving and inspecting the item.

Bespoke, made-to-order, and pre-order items These cannot be returned for any reason, unless faulty or not as described.

Faulty or incorrect items Please inspect the packaging and item carefully on delivery and report any visible damage before signing for the goods with the driver. We recommend refusing the package if there are visible damages and making this reason clear to the driver. Contact us as soon as possible — and ideally within 48 hours — by emailing hello@icecoldspice.com with your order number, photos of the item, and a description of the issue. All faulty items are assessed in conjunction with the manufacturer, whose findings will inform the resolution offered. You are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement at no cost to you, including return postage.

02. WHY DO CLIENTS CHOOSE COPPER?

Copper bathtubs carry an echo of history, treasured since ancient Egypt, Rome, and India for their beauty. Copper baths were later embraced by by English royalty, including Queen Victoria, who had copper and tin bathing suites in her private residences.

03. DO TAPS COME WITH THE BATHTUB?

No, you will need to purchase separate freestanding taps.

04. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Please expect your delivery to arrive within 3-5 working days. If you have ordered a custom colour (from the colour picker), please expect 3-4 weeks additional lead time. This is because it is a careful process, with each treatment professionally applied by hand.

05. CAN I CHOOSE A COLOUR THAT ISN'T ON THE MENU?

Yes, absolutely. Please give us a call and let us know which off-menu shade you have in mind.

06. HOW DO I CARE FOR THE BATHTUB?

After each use, rinse the bath with fresh water and a soft cloth to prevent limescale, particularly after using bath salts. Avoid acid or methanol-based cleaners. Don’t use abrasive cloths, especially on chrome parts. Copper is a soft metal and hence can pick up scratches and dents over time. Owing to self-healing nature of copper, these scratches will disappear themselves as the metal reacts with the air and gradually changes colour and appearance. This is called the patina. Instead of trying to repair scratches, love the inherent character as it forms over time creating a lived in luxury.
