After each use, rinse the bath with fresh water and a soft cloth to prevent limescale, particularly after using bath salts. Avoid acid or methanol-based cleaners. Don’t use abrasive cloths, especially on chrome parts. Copper is a soft metal and hence can pick up scratches and dents over time. Owing to self-healing nature of copper, these scratches will disappear themselves as the metal reacts with the air and gradually changes colour and appearance. This is called the patina.
